By investing in entrepreneurship, Butler Tech aims to inspire and empower students to discover their purpose, pursue their passions, and make a positive impact on the world. The program is designed to provide students with the necessary skills, resources, and support to turn their ideas into successful ventures, fostering a culture of innovation, creativity, and entrepreneurship.
My aim is to inspire students to explore and unleash their entrepreneurial creativity, empowering them to identify and pursue opportunities that align with their passions and goals. As Butler Tech’s Entrepreneurship Coordinator, I provide personalized support to students through one-on-one mentoring sessions, and engaging classroom experiences, tailored to their unique needs.
In response to student voice, our district has established the Entrepreneurship Center, a dedicated maker-space that empowers students, staff, and community members to collaborate, innovate, ideate, and bring their ideas to life.
The Entrepreneurship Center features Outlet, an actual retail environment that enables students to showcase, market, and sell their own products or services. The name “Outlet” was coined by a group of Butler Tech students who aimed to create a platform that could serve as an avenue for expressing and promoting their entrepreneurial creativity.
